This original Alcohol Ink painting is part of my Dreamscapes collection. This group of artwork is about quick creation without worrying about perfection. There isn't time to be perfect anyway, the medium dries very quickly and is really difficult to control, forcing me to be in the moment, enjoy the process, and play. This piece has always made me think of a party. The bright pink, teal, and yellow remind me of colorful balloons. It's abstract and allows the viewer to bring their own past experiences to the piece that pop up in their mind and lead to their own associations with the color scheme, mark making, or composition of the work. It's always fun to ask others what they see to spark intriguing conversation.
