This original Alcohol Ink painting is part of my Dreamscapes collection. This group of artwork is about quick creation without worrying about perfection. There isn't time to be perfect anyway, the medium dries very quickly and is really difficult to control, forcing me to be in the moment, enjoy the process, and play. In this artwork, emerald green mountains stand out against a backdrop of colorful, glowing skies, perhaps the northern lights. An earthy yellow shape in the foreground could be a small pond reflecting the colors of the sky, or perhaps a cliffside or boulder. A smattering of speckled stars in the sky creates movement and entices the imagination to see galaxies beyond.
