This mixed media artwork creates a striking contrast between bright turquoise lines and darker, earthy tones. The composition features a variety of textures, with dripped blue paint creating dynamic lines and patterns across the surface, weaving through areas of deep reds, grays, and metallic silver tones. The overall effect is an industrial or urban abstract. I created it in undergrad while experimenting with new techniques and materials, finding my confidence in mark-making and abstract expression. It would go particularly well in a modern and minimalist space.
